JUNE 1-2: Farmington, MN, Winged Warriors Spring Meet in conjunction with the Mopars in the Park Car Show and Swap Meet to be held at the Dakota County Fairgrounds. Friday night Moparty from 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM at Janet and Curt Lawson's home at 13240--139th Ave N, Dayton, MN. There is no fee to eat, but donations are very much welcome to help pay for food. There will be lots of delicious food and lots of good Mopar friends and you never know who will show up for a surprise visit! Saturday and Sunday car show and swap meet with special guests at the Dakota County Fairgrounds. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Sox &  Martin Race Team, Buddy Martin and Diane Sox will be special guests along with as many of the original Sox & Martin original race cars as they can get. Other special guests will be Judy "Miss Mighty Mopar" Lilly, "Akron" Arlen Vanke and don Grotheer. Back by popular demand will be the Challenger Challenge and another attempt to break the Guinness Book of World Records with the largest parade of Dodge LC bodied Challengers. JUNE 11-16: Ann Arbor, MI area, DSAC and Winged Warriors/NBOA National Meet with Bob Glaspie as host. Meet activities being planned include: June 15-16 members have our own display area in Greenfield Village for the Greenfield Village Motor Muster and each car will receive 4 free passes for Village, Henry Ford Museum and Hall of Fame for both days--a $300 value! Keep in mind this is a race weekend and all of the hotels have jacked up their rates. Bob was able to procure a block of rooms at the Ann Arbor Holiday Inn Express, 3600 Plymouth Road, which is a nice big hotel for the reasonable price of $99.99 per night; there are 50 rooms blocked at this price until May 11th.
